Our Story

There once was a little girl from Fresno

She was tall, blonde and very beautiful

She met a young man while out one night

To him she was truly love at first sight

The girl had a passion for the chocolate chip cookie

For in this area she was no rookie

When asked by the young man for a date

She really thought it better to wait

She really thought him to be a snooze

His phone number many times she did lose

The young man thought long and hard how to change her mind

Then it dawned on him, how could he be so blind

He had his own chocolate chip cookie recipe

He loudly exclaimed, "That is the key"

He prepared a batch with loving tenderness

To him it now seemed so obvious

On her car she found a note

On the note was simply wrote

"Cookies are done little girl"

Immediately her heart was filled with joy

And she began thinking, "This may be the boy"

His phone number she suddenly found

In her car on the ground

Enticed by the cookies she gave him a call

Then after eating them, for him she began to fall

For her it was true love at first cookie

For at baking cookies he was no rookie

The rest of the story is easily told

After 17 years and three kids their plan is together to grow old

To this day their love is still strong

And the smell of chocolate chip cookies has been there all along

The little girl is just as beautiful as the day that they met

And they're still just as in love on that you can bet

I love you with all of my heart.
